Eliza Christensen

Office Manager / Paralegal

Eliza Christensen was born in California and raised in Salt Lake City. She is the third out of nine children in her family. Eliza earned her bachelor’s degree at Utah State University in Health Education and Promotion. 

From receptionist roles to administrative case management, she has over 10 years of administrative leadership roles that makes her an asset to our team. She joined Christensen Law as a paralegal and firm administrator in March 2020. Through her professional life she gained vital administrative skills and came to enjoy the work she does for the law. She has always enjoyed helping people and finds fulfillment in working with clients and supporting them in their difficult circumstances. She strives to be approachable, understanding and to work for the benefit of our clients. Outside of work, Eliza enjoys the culinary arts, traveling, hiking, backpacking, rock climbing and spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel Oblad

Head Paralegal

Rachel first joined Christensen Law in 2006 where her enthusiasm and energy quickly established her as an invaluable asset to both clients and colleagues. After exploring opportunities outside the legal field, she returned to Christensen Law as the Head Litigation Paralegal in 2023.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, rescuing only one cat, and exploring creative pursuits.

Fanny Dalrymple-Hayfron

Law Clerk

Fanny prides herself in being “Mfantsenyi” from the Gold Coast of West Africa. With both parents being Fantes, and of royal descent, Fanny was raised in the rich cultural heritage of “Mfantefo” as an “Ewuraba” who believes in virtue, grace and diligence.

She graduated with magna cum laude from the Cape Coast University in Ghana, pursued an MBA in Corporate Strategy from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands and a Bachelor of Laws from GIMPA Law School, Ghana. Fanny is a dual qualified attorney in the United States and Ghana. Her practice areas of interest are family law, estate planning, commercial law and immigration law. 

Ben Wall

Law Clerk

Ben has a strong background in civil litigation. He began his legal education at Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law before transferring to the University of Wyoming College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. His academic journey also includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which provides valuable insights into his legal practice. While in law school, he actively participated in Alternative Dispute Resolution and multiple legal clinics assisting those in need.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and exploring the outdoors through camping, fishing, and hiking.

Anna-Katherine Pickering

Paralegal

Anna Kathryn moved to Salt Lake City after graduating summa cum laude from Wake Forest University. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she grew up admiring her grandfather, who was a practicing lawyer and then judge for many decades. Her goal has always been to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and become a lawyer, which is why she was excited to become a paralegal at Christensen Law. Although it is a challenging field, her experience in family law has taught her a lot about the intricacies of law and the complexity of dealing with both the legal and emotional side of this field.

In her free time, Anna Kathryn enjoys reading, cooking, and walks with her dog.

Josephine Norbertbeno

Legal Secretary / Paralegal

Josie was born in India but moved to the United States at the age of seven. She grew up in Bountiful, Utah and got her high school diploma from the Northern Utah Academy of Math, Engineering, and Science. She currently has an associate’s in science from her time at Utah State University. She has hopes of going back to school to study social work as she always had a passion for helping others, especially children. She has over two years of experience working in healthcare and has also worked as a preschool teacher.

She joined Christensen Law as a legal secretary in January of 2024 and hopes to keep growing and learning about the legal system to incorporate into her future studies of social work. She has always enjoyed helping others as that’s always been her goal in life. Josephine enjoys trying new foods from different countries, travelling, going to the gym, and enjoying the Salt Lake City nightlife.
